Powered by Runchat alongside state of the art models from OpenAI and Anthropic, this workshop introduces a new paradigm of agent-assisted modelling. Agent-assisted modelling excels at implementing parametric models from technical specifications, creating simulations from descriptions of goals and constraints, integrating arbitrary edge conditions within complex procedural logic, exploring and documenting design space of models and producing takeoffs, schedules and reports.You will master integrating AI coding agents with Rhino and Grasshopper via MCP, learn to evaluate VLM cost-performance trade-offs, and turn advanced Python and Grasshopper scripts into user-friendly web apps and interactive Three.js visualizations for your entire team.

Gwyllim Jahn is the co-founder and CEO of Runchat, a technology startup building design agents for creative workflows. He is also the Creative Director of Fologram, a company he co-founded in 2017 to develop software for fabrication in mixed reality. Fologram's work has been internationally awarded, including for the 2019 Tallinn Architecture Biennale and the 2024 ACADIA Digital Practice award. Gwyllim holds a PhD from RMIT University where is a lecturer in Architecture and Design. His research on digital craft, generative design and mixed reality fabrication is the subject of a recent book published by Actar.
